ABOUT

Cedar is a small family run, tastefully decorated, comfortable bed and breakfast, set in the beautiful Provençal hills close to Fayence, Var, ideally situated above the famous Côte d'Azur.  After many years travelling the world, we decided to make our home in this extraordinary corner of France and offer discerning guests the opportunity to fall in love with Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region.

Provence is well known for its light, the area is a painter's delight and many follow in the footsteps of renowned artists.

Our little piece of paradise is a traditional Provençal link house, set near the historic route Napoléon, seated at the edge of the village and close to the popular tourist village of Fayence.  The bed and breakfast is just a stone’s throw away from the forest, which offers stunning walks including access to two village lakes.

Typical Provence hilltop villages surround us: Seillans, Fayence, Tourrettes,

St Paul en Foret, Callian, Montauroux and nearby Bagnols en Foret.  Along with local vineyards, stunning scenery of the hills and mountains, Cedar is situated to explore and experience what Provence has to offer.

Ideally situated close to lac de Saint-Cassien known by keen fishermen for its freshwater fishing.  The lake also offers wild swimming, canoeing, sailing and rowing activities. The local ski resorts above Mons village, are only 1.5. hours by car. Cedar bed and breakfast offers a relaxing retreat, a great base from which to explore the pays de Fayence and Provence.

Access afforded by the l'autoroute du Soleil, A8 motorway, brings within easy reach Nice, Cannes, Saint-Tropez, Sainte-Maxime, Aix-en- Provence and Monaco.  All

a short car ride away, making for leisurely days exploring the areas of the

Cote d'Azur.

We believe we have it all at our fingertips, an ideal location for guests to be as busy or relaxed as they want. To be in the mountains or on the beaches of the Mediterranean.  To be chic in Cannes, relaxed on a beach or chilled out by the pool, your holiday is in your hand and your options are numerous.

We may be a small bed and breakfast, but our rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated with an emphasis on making your stay as relaxing and as comfortable as possible.  The garden is encompassed by hedging, ensuring privacy and a calm pool area.  We offer large restful beds with toppers for that little extra luxury and facilities expected from a quality establishment.

We aim to be as natural, organic and source local produce wherever possible, without compromising our standards.  We like to feel that we welcome you as guests, but

you leave us as friends, having fallen in love with this beautiful piece of France.

GUEST REVIEW

Sylvie from France -

“Cedar is in a lovely location, set in a hill top village. My bedroom was very comfortable & I liked that I was offered alternative pillows to help with my bad neck. I slept like an angel. The little touches here & there were very thoughtful.  My stay was just what I needed to recharge my batteries.”
